Richard Potter “Wavelength”

May 11 - June 8, 2018

Opening May 11th 5pm-7pm

These recent works are, in part, exploring color. How colors influence each other making for vibrancy and light. How they effect dynamic space, creating movement, syncopation, and flow.

There is also a narrative element to the paintings. Bits of information to feed on and put together with more than just the eye. They are meant to be experienced. Within the color relationships, the form, line, space, and imagery, there is the intention to establish a connection with being. Art is a way of being. We all have some sort of art in our being.
It is in how we live and relate to things. My paintings are representations of how I live and relate to things.
